College Guidance
and Advocacy

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Every year, admission to top colleges and universities has become increasingly more competitive. Prospective collegiate student-athletes can increase their odds of admission dramatically by using their athletic achievement as a means to differentiate themselves from the rest of the applicant pool. At a time when outstanding grades and near-perfect standardized test scores no longer guarantee acceptance to top universities, the Positive Impact College Guidance & Advocacy program can help to counsel families and gain support from college coaches that in some cases can raise admissions rates from 5% to nearly 50%.

GUIDANCE & ADVOCACY HISTORY

Over the last 20 years, our student-athletes have moved on to participate at the collegiate level at nearly FOUR  TIMES the US national average and our STICK RATE is over 95% (versus 25% for most sports academies)! All Positive Impact college training and readiness programs are designed to allow highly academic student-athletes to follow an efficient, highly effective training regimen that will keep them healthy and at peak performance, while also balancing academic, social and family demands.\

tHE tRUTH

The reality is that only 6.8% (1 in 15) of high school athletes will play their sport in college and less than 2% (1 in 54) will participate at the NCAA DI level. While college recruiting coordinators and head coaches have years of experience recruiting hundreds, if not thousands, of prospective student-athletes, most athletes and families will be navigating the recruiting process for the first time. With 20 years of experience in this ever-changing recruiting landscape, Positive Impact Guidance & Advocacy will help to level the playing field with experience and professionalism to provide clarity and help streamline what might otherwise become an overwhelming and stressful process for these young athletes and their parents.

In this introductory phase, families will hear a 45-minute in-person or remote phone conversation outlining the college baseball recruiting process. Mack Paciorek will explain facts and figures ranging from the total number of athletic programs available at the DI, DII, DIII, NAIA and JC levels, the total number of athletes competing for roster spots, and probabilities of playing baseball in college. "It is important to keep things in perspective and trust the process and your advisors throughout the recruiting process. I definitely have to thank Mack and his staff for much of the success I've had to this point."
